Four local pilots flew from the Cool Spring Balloonport, east of Statesville, last night as a preview of Lifting Spirits Around the World...This weekend, our pilots and many others around the world will join together as a symbol of thanks, with balloon launches called Lifting Spirits Around the World. Independent balloonists from around the world will take flight on these two days, flooding social media with pictures and videos of their flights, with one goal – thanking frontline and essential workers. Balloons put smiles on the faces of young and old and with the postponement of the 49th Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, we applaud the efforts of those pilots planning and participating in Lifting Spirits Around the World. Since the success of flight, people have taken to the skies. Initially, it was a simple way to get to a distant place faster. Soon, it took on a more comfortable purpose. While it’s secure to say that maximum people have tried in a plane or helicopter, but few have had the chance to do that with views that are not hindered by the aircraft and the sound of engines. Several may not consider of North Carolina as a magnificent hot air balloon destination, but there is lot of nice places to take a hot air balloon ride in North Carolina. When you board on a hot air ballooning adventure with any of these companies, you’ll be flying with the elite that have your security and enjoyment in mind. During one of these flights, you’ll fly through the sky in the direction of the wind and notice grand aerial views like you’ve never ever notice before! Leave a Reply. |

STAY LATE! See you there! A portion of proceeds raised through Carolina BalloonFest is distributed to local nonprofit organizations.
